Last week several Members of the DecoChrom consortium contributed actively to PrintoCent’s PRINSE’20 in Oulu, Finland. PRINSE’20 is the leading industry seminar for printed electronics, with 300 international participants and 50 companies presenting. One of the opening keynotes on Wendesday 29th of January was given by Jani-Mikael Kuusisto from Ynvisible. His talk was titled “Practical human interfaces for smart objects and environments – unobtrusive and everywhere” featuring several elements that have been developed as part of DecoChrom as well as Ynvisible’s new roll-to-roll production of electrochromic displays.
Furthermore, on Friday the 31st of January Heiko Müller and Lauri Hakala from the University of Lapland as well as Miriam Sousa from Ynvisible, held a workshop on prototyping transparent and flexible electrochromic displays. In this workshop 25 participants from industry got the chance to design and build their own electrochromic display.
