Vitaboot

The previously developed VitaBoot, which utilized a blue electrochromic display has been updated with a display utilizing the red electrochromic ink developed in the DecoChrom project. The boot connects to a heart rate monitor, worn by the wearer of the boots. When the wearer’s heart rate rises above 100bpm red flames appear on the side of the boots. This application leverages the flexibility and robustness of electrochromic displays.
